I’m excited to get to meet everyone and I know the feeling is mutual.
To help coordinate scheduling visits, I set this booking site up all by myself (okay, maybe Dad
helped a little but it was mostly me... which is why it took so long... keyboards are not made for
tiny fingers like mine!).
Anyway, just pick a time that works for you and me and I’ll see you then!
My Visitor Rules
If you are currently sick, have
been sick, or you have been around someone who has been
sick within the last 48 hours, please wait to visit
me.
Don’t forget to wash your hands before holding/touching
me.
No kissing, regardless of how cute I may be.
The NICU nurses were very insistent that anyone with active cold
sores (scabbed over or open) should avoid touching or
holding me. I’m not sure what that means but I try to avoid "cold" things at
all costs in general!
If your clothes are smoky for any reason, including but not
limited to cigarettes, camp fires, fire pits, blast furnaces, BBQ grills, pellet smokers,
SpaceX/NASA rocket launches, and/or Burning man music festival, please bring a clean shirt to
change into prior to holding me. The nurses said to not just put a clean shirt on over a smoky shirt, but to change shirts completely.
Like smoke, I also try to avoid other environmental irritants like
pollen, fresh cut grass, chemicals, perfume, cologne, or strongly scented lotions.
It can be quite tiring for me to interact with many people, so let's keep visits short and
sweet.
My sleep is very important to me and my little brain development so if I’m sleeping you can visit and even hold me, but please don’t try to wake me.
To limit my exposure to germs, it's best if only small groups visit me at once.
Finally, always ask my parents for their permission and
guidance. They know what's best for me (for now anyway…
we’ll see how I feel about that when I’m older).
You feelin' well?
Are you currently sick?
Have you been sick (last 48 hours)?
Have you been around anybody who is/was sick (last 48 hours)?
Uh oh...
Since my immune system is still developing, you should wait a bit before
visiting...
You can still schedule a visit for a future date when you'll be
good to visit, but please only visit if you are 100% safe to do so.
Don't worry, I don't have a cancellation fee so if you need to cancel
for safety reasons, I completely understand.
You're the best!
I appreciate you lookin' out for me! Better safe than sorry, right?
When you're feeling 100% and want to visit, just come on back and book some time!
